Durant's MVP

I'm not a big fan of NBA awards speeches. And I doubt there are a lot of them out there. But I liked what KD had to say. All that stuff about teammates, thanking everyone and of course, talking about his mom. I personally get really emotional during that kind of stuff. I even cried a couple of times while watching Captain America. The first one of course. I  mentioned that earlier.
Saying that she's the real MVP was really sweet of him. I didn't really know he has a tough time growing up.
And If you watched that moment you couldn't help to see the blond lady in the back holding her tears and then nodding when he calls her the MVP. We all remember the speech Derrick Rose gave appreciating his mom. That was also a great moment.
And one more thing before you get out of my blog. Players who were fortunate to get the MVP award always talk about how their teammates are great. It is obvious basketball above all is a team sport. You can not succeed without your teammates.
So I wonder what Moses Malone's speech was like the second time he received the award being the one and only player to win it back to back with different teams. This fact emphasizes what a great player he was and how lucky he was to play with the guys he played with.  The first time he probably thanked everyone he could have thought about, said what great teammates he had, and so on. The second time he went like come on guys you know what I'm about to say.
